Safety's a feature, not a disclaimer!
BroBattle is built to help people find great teammates! That only works if everyone feels safe, so safety's designed into the game from the start rather than bolted on later.
Our core promise
The game comes first. BroBattle will never pressure you toward offline contact, and every social step is optional.
Our social path is deliberately gradual: game teammate, then repeat teammate, then friend or crew, and only then, if a group wants it, an optional public group event. You can stop at any step, and most players will simply enjoy the game.
The rules we build by
No exact location sharing
BroBattle has no feature to share home or work locations, and we won't build one.
No stranger one-to-one meetups
The game will never help someone you met in a battle arrange to meet you alone.
Group, public-place events only
Any real-world event discovery is group-oriented and public-venue oriented.
Adults and minors kept apart
Adult and minor systems are kept apart with age-appropriate protections.
Prominent block and report
Block and report controls are easy to find on every player, crew and after-battle screen.
Instant mute
Muting a player works immediately, everywhere.
No forced voice chat
Pings, markers and quick callouts mean you can play every mode without a microphone.
Duo Rifts need consent
A Duo Rift requires an explicit invitation and acceptance. Either player can leave at any time.
In-game behavior only
Bro Sync never uses outside data and never infers sensitive traits.
If groups ever meet in person
Some crews will become real friends. If BroBattle introduces real-world group events, they'll require all of the following:
- A minimum group-size threshold
- A public venue
- Approximate location only, until participation rules permit more detail
- Organizer and reporting controls
- Clear cancellation and leave controls
- An age policy
- Moderation and an audit trail
We won't build private-address meetup mechanics. Ever.
Your data and safety
We collect as little as possible: a callsign you choose, your scores, gameplay telemetry used for Bro Sync, and a hashed IP address for anti-abuse. There are no advertising trackers on BroBattle. Details are in our privacy policy, and our terms of service explain the conduct rules every player agrees to.
Money and safety never mix
Future purchases will be cosmetics or expansions, not pay-to-win. Access to finding Bros and safety features will never be sold.
Reporting a problem
Use the in-game report button on any player or crew. For urgent concerns, or anything the in-game tools don't cover, send us a message through our contact form. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
