How scoring works

Every Battlescape run earns points for eliminations, objectives and a successful extraction, and taking down a boss is worth a big bonus! The exact values are tuned as the game develops. In co-op, the team shares one score, so reviving a teammate is often worth more than chasing one more kill.

• Eliminations: tougher enemies such as Breachers and Stalkers are worth more than Flankers.
• Objectives: completing the mission's dynamic objective is the backbone of a good run.
• Boss: defeating the escalation boss earns a major bonus.
• Extraction: you only bank your score if you make it out!

Solo board vs co-op board

The solo board ranks runs played alone or with an AI bot squad. It's the purest test of movement, aim and decision-making: nobody is carrying you, and every Breacher push and Stalker ambush is yours to solve. The co-op board ranks team runs with human players. Here coordination beats raw aim. A squad that splits objectives cleanly, covers reloads and saves each other from wipes will outscore four solo stars playing their own game!

Tips for a higher score

• Stay mobile. Flankers punish players who stand still. Sprint between cover and keep them in front of you.
• Kill Breachers from the side. Their shields soak frontal fire. Bait the charge, then hit them where the armor is thin.
• Watch your health. Stalkers hunt the wounded. Reload and heal before you push, not during.
• Learn the boss tells. The Rift Guardian telegraphs its big attacks. Dodge first, then punish the exposed core!
• Always extract. A huge run that ends in a wipe banks nothing. Know when to leave!

Fair play

Suspicious runs are removed from the board. Callsigns that are offensive or impersonate others will be changed. Your callsign and score are public on this board; nothing else about you is. See the privacy policy and terms.
