Collapsing towers, floating buses and tight street fights!
BroBattle is built so you can have a great night alone and an even better one with people! Here's how each mode works, who it's for and what makes it different.
Solo isn't a waiting room for multiplayer. It's a complete game! You drop into a Battlescape, fight through waves of intelligent AI, complete a dynamic objective, face an escalating boss and make a run for extraction. Your progression carries forward, and the next run changes because of how the last one went.
The bots are designed to be readable and fair but never dumb. Flankers push wide and use cover. Breachers march straight at you behind shields. Snipers control long sightlines, Wardens revive and suppress, and Hunters track anyone who's wounded. The best enemies can even become Nemesis bots that survive, pick up new traits and come back later remembering how your last fight went!

Want the feeling of a team without organizing one? Bring up to three AI squadmates! They follow your lead, flank when you push, lay down suppressing fire, revive you when you go down, heal, defend objectives and fall back when a fight turns bad.
Each squadmate has a selectable role and a personality. A cautious medic plays very differently from an aggressive breacher, so building your squad is a real tactical choice. Squad mode is also the smoothest on-ramp to human co-op: the callouts and positioning you learn with bots are exactly the ones that make you a great teammate later.

Co-op is where BroBattle comes alive! Two to six players fight the same Battlescape together with drop-in sessions, so a friend can join mid-mission instead of waiting for the next one. Revives and rescues are designed to be dramatic: dragging a downed teammate out of a crossfire is one of the most memorable things you can do in the game.
Because everything runs in the browser, inviting someone is as simple as sending a link. After a strong battle, Bro Sync may highlight a teammate you coordinated unusually well with, and you can queue up another battle together.
For players who want rivalry on top of survival, PvPvE puts human teams into the same Battlescape as hostile AI, creatures and contested objectives. It's optional, and it's never forced on crews or on solo players.

Duo Rifts are missions built for exactly two consenting players. The two of you get asymmetric information and mechanics: one sees the route while the other sees the threats, or you fight in separate dimensional phases and must hit each other's enemies. They're action-first, never a relationship quiz, and they're perfect for long-distance friends, couples, siblings or a parent and grown child!
Read the full Duo Rifts guide for every mission type.

Crews are persistent groups for people who keep choosing to play together. You get a Crew HQ, a shared history of your runs, trophies from the bosses you've defeated and opt-in rivalries and events with other crews. Learn how crews work.

Every mode runs across every Battlescape, from the downtown rift to open farmland, canyons, forest ridges and coastal marsh. The open maps come with rides!
