What a crew is
A crew is a group of players who choose to stick together. Maybe you met through open co-op and Bro Sync kept flagging the same names. Maybe you're a group of old friends who finally found a game everyone can run, because it's just a browser tab. Either way, a crew gives that group a permanent place in BroBattle!
Crews are about shared history more than stats. The game remembers the runs you pulled off, the bosses you brought down and the Bro Moments that made the group chat light up, and puts them on display!

Trophy wall
Defeat a Rift Guardian or a notorious Nemesis bot and a trophy lands in your HQ: a cracked visor, a glowing shard, a piece of the titan's crown. Every trophy is earned in a real run!

A timeline of your crew's best runs, extraction times, boss kills and Bro Moment stat cards. It's the story of the group, told by what you did.

Rivalries and events, always opt-in
Some crews want competition. They can opt in to rivalries with other crews, compare runs on shared Battlescapes, or enter PvPvE events where human teams contest objectives in the middle of hostile AI and creatures. Other crews never want to see another team, and that's fine. Nothing competitive is ever forced on a crew.
Nemesis bots remember your crew!
BroBattle's Nemesis system lets notable enemies survive, gain traits and equipment, and reappear later. A Breacher that wiped your crew last week might come back with a new shield and a grudge! Nemesis bots remember game facts about past encounters, not anything about you personally, and taking one down for good is one of the best ways to earn a trophy for your HQ.
Real-world meetups: group only, public only
Crews can grow into real friendships, and some groups may eventually want to meet. If BroBattle ever supports real-world group events, they'll be group-oriented and in public venues only, with a minimum group size, approximate locations until participation rules allow more, organizer and reporting controls, clear cancellation and leave options, an age policy and moderation. There will never be private address sharing or stranger-initiated one-to-one meetups. Read more on our safety page.
How to start a crew
Play a few co-op battles, keep the Bros you click with, and create a crew from the after-battle screen or your profile. Crews are rolling out as BroBattle develops, and early players will be the first to get access. In the meantime, check the leaderboard to see who's setting the pace!
